About Mathews
Hello, I'm from Dallas, Texas. I am a senior mechanical engineering major at UT Dallas with a strong passion for learning and teaching math and physics. I first fell in love with physics in high school, and my curiosity has only grown. So far, I have taken Trigonometry, Algebra I & II, College Algebra, Calculus I & II, Differential Equations, and AP Physics I. I've also helped my younger sister with her math homework for years. Working with her has taught me how to explain things clearly and adapt my approach based on her questions. As much as I enjoy solving tough problems, I love it more when I explain these problems without making anyone overwhelmed. I especially love that moment when students finally understand a concept they've been struggling forever with. As a result, I like to break down complex problems into understandable parts and give students tools to navigate math and physics independently. I'd love to help you reach your goals. I can't wait to help you tackle math and physics!
