About Hershitha

Hey, I'm Hershitha. I'm a med student, so yeah, I've read more textbooks than I'd like to admit — turns out all that studying was basically training for this. Math, Science, English, whatever the subject — I just get it, and I'm pretty good at making other people get it too.
I've never done the "official tutor" thing before, but I've been the person friends call at 11pm before an exam for years, so honestly, same energy, just with a resume now.
I'm not going to pretend homework is thrilling, but I promise I'll make it way less painful — and occasionally we might even have fun along the way. No judgment for "dumb" questions here; I've asked plenty of my own. My style is easygoing and low-pressure. I don't lecture, I don't make anyone feel behind, and I genuinely think learning clicks faster when nobody's being weird and stressful about it.
Science and Math come especially naturally to me thanks to med school, but I'm just as happy diving into English or helping with general study habits. My goal is simple: get your kid to a place where the material actually makes sense, and maybe even get them laughing once or twice while we're at it.
If you're looking for someone stiff and formal, I'm probably not your guy. If you want someone chill, sharp, and genuinely good at explaining things — that's me. Let's get this done.

About the lesson

We'll cover Math, Science, and English — basically anything on the homework list. I don't do rigid lesson plans; I figure out what's actually tripping your kid up and we go after that directly, no wasted time on stuff they already know.
I've basically been doing this my whole life — I've taught my little sister for years, so I know how to break things down in a way that actually makes sense to a kid, not just how a textbook explains it. I make everything as relatable as possible, tying concepts to stuff they actually care about instead of random abstract examples nobody asked for.
Sessions are relaxed but focused. Expect real explanations (not just "here's the answer"), room to ask questions without feeling dumb, and the occasional tangent if it helps something click. By the end, the goal isn't just "got the homework done" — it's actually understanding the material well enough that the next test doesn't feel like a surprise.
