About Theo
I've been teaching for 11 years now. I've students of all ages- beginners, to high school drummers in band class, to adults and seniors.
My classes are fun and always different. I see what songs you like, how you play, and I'll make you sound and play better within the first 5 minutes. We'll play along and learn the drum beats to your favorite songs so you can play them with your friends the next day!

I studied Percussion at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I played in jazz combos, percussion ensembles, orchestras, as well as playing solo recitals on marimba, timpani, and jazz vibraphone, as well as competing in Concerto competitions.
I toured worldwide on Cruise ships, playing in cover bands, jazz bands, behind singers and dancers in production shows and world-renowned guest soloists.
I play and tour with bands and artists here in Los Angeles. I also compose music for television and artists. I have my own project called Marimba Pop you can check out on YouTube!

The first lesson with Theo will allow you to get to know each other and discuss your needs for future lessons.
- 1hr
Details
Lessons are $60/hour. An hour will fly by and we will learn a ton of things and you'll be able to sound great and play your favorite songs by the end of an hour!
For young students, $30/half hour lesson is recommended.
$10 is added for travel.
