About Charanyaa
I am a Mental Health Counselor with a background in Human Resources and formal training in Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy. My journey into counseling grew from my long-standing interest in understanding people, their emotions, relationships and the experiences that shape them.
My experience in HR has given me the opportunity to work closely with people from diverse backgrounds, listen to their concerns, understand different perspectives and handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion. This experience has also strengthened my communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
As a counselor, I value empathy, respect, confidentiality and continuous learning. I believe that counseling is not about telling someone what they should do, but about creating a space where they can feel heard, understood and supported while discovering their own way forward.
I am particularly interested in emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, confidence, stress management, personal growth and life transitions. I am committed to continuing my professional development and building my practice with integrity and care.

My sessions provide a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly, understand your thoughts and emotions, and develop greater self-awareness.
I use an integrative, client-centred approach, drawing from Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, RECBT, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt Therapy, depending on your individual needs and concerns.
Sessions can focus on areas such as emotional wellbeing, stress management, self-esteem, personal growth, life transitions and understanding patterns of thoughts and behaviour.
My approach is collaborative rather than advice-driven. I believe you know yourself best, and my role is to listen, help you explore what you're experiencing, and support you in finding practical and meaningful ways forward.
My background in Human Resources has also given me experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, communicating sensitively and handling personal and workplace concerns with discretion.
