About Erik
High school students, I’ve been there… Trying to put together two dozen works of your best quality for strangers to look at and judge— it can be so intimidating! Not to worry, with some experienced guidance you can attend the school of your choice.
Are you an adult looking to return to the arts? I’ve got you covered. I regularly instruct Life/Figure Drawing, Acrylic Painting, and Color Theory. With these three skills you are sure to have a stronger foundation.
I received my BFA (‘14) from the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, a Post-Baccalaureate (‘15) and MFA (‘23) from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. My work has been featured in New American Paintings and the film Split (‘16).

I have been professionally painting and drawing for ten years. My work has been published in multiple publications and catalogues, I’ve written and received grants for project funding, and I currently teach in-person classes.
When instructing one-on-one, I find what that person needs; whether they are applying to school, putting together a portfolio, or need honest feedback, I’m your person.
