About Katie
I graduated First Class with an Honors Bachelor of Psychology before pursuing Biology. I then ran a world class Microbiology lab before becoming an ESL teacher. I have advanced TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification. I usually teach English with Math.
As your tutor I customize lessons to your needs, homework, and assessments. I will edit your homework prior to submission.
With an interest in psychology, I welcome alternative learning styles, ADHD, autism spectrum, etc.
I am friendly, energetic, have many interests (eg/ books, tv, movies, music, toys, heroes, space, cars, trains, computers, games, Halloween), and love humor so we have a lot to bond over!

Lessons occur over Zoom where we will share screens and an interactive Jamboard.
We will complete homework, work on target skills, practice a variety of worksheets, and play educational games.
I create a fun learning environment where effort and bravery are rewarded.
I am friendly, energetic, have many interests, and love humor so we have a lot to bond over!
Lessons are best for those of any age learning English as a second language (ESL), children aged 6+ learning English and Math, students K-8, specific subjects for students in high school and beyond such as: Biology, Geography, and Psychology.
I am an excellent miscellaneous older sister type tutor that loves to see people learn and grow! I am always researching new techniques and resources for lifelong learning!
