About Charlotte
I have been tutoring for over six years now, and enjoy helping students to reach their target grades, no matter what they may be. I was involved in many outreach programmes during my time at university; equality in education and making sure that minority groups have equal opportunities is very important to me.
During my time at university, I produced and acted in many student theatre productions; I still enjoy theatre and am currently part of a drama group. In addition, I volunteer for Just Like Us, a charity which supports LGBTQ young people. One of my roles for the charity is to produce their podcast.

I have tutored A-level and GCSE subjects for six years, and Oxbridge applicants for four years. Students tell me that I am good at explaining complex concepts in an accessible way, and that I have helped them to achieve their target grades. I am friendly and patient, which is essential for the role.
I assess the student’s current knowledge of the subject by working through an exam paper. This highlights areas for improvement, which form the basis of the next lessons. I take the student’s learning style into consideration. For example, for visual learners, I use photos in order to aid learning.
