About Heather
I have been a teacher for almost 3 decades, finding my most rewarding time with the youngest learners. To supplement I have also tutored in my off hours, mainly helping children develop a solid foundation for their educational career. My training in Montessori has helped guide my instructions in both math and reading.

Montessori teaches to the child at their level, easily meeting their needs. With a strong base in phonetics, it is an easy journey to reading. I offer a variety of materials, games, worksheets, and the Bob Book series. The same can be said of math, using Montessori techniques helps build a solid foundation of understanding to aid the child as they grow into more challenging skills. The children will move from concrete to more abstract with the use of varied materials and activities.
