About Jon

Despite working in a completely different industry, I have a passion for helping people achieve healthier, happier and more confident lives. I miss training clients and seeing people get stronger, recover from injuries and achieve the body they want. Ultimately, the job of a good PT is to help their clients learn how to train themselves.

About the lesson

Not only do I have extensive experience in face-to-face training of clients, a documented history of training success and a good education in the field, I also have a PhD in Psychology and Masters in Health Psychology. This informs my approach to helping clients achieve lasting behaviour-change.

I have also personally competed in full-contact martial arts, ultra-running, Olympic-style weightlifting (not at the Olympics sorry) and competitive bodybuilding.
