About Angel
Hi, I'm Angel from Umlazi, Durban. I'm a Grade 12 learner and I love Maths.
I started teaching because I know how it feels to sit in class and not understand, and be too scared to ask. I struggled before too, until I learnt to break it down in a simple way. When I started helping my friends and younger cousins, I saw their marks go up and they started saying "oh I actually get it now." That feeling made me want to keep teaching.
I want to make Maths less scary for learners in my community, especially Grades 4 to 11. I know we can't all afford expensive tutors, so I keep my prices affordable. I'm not a strict teacher, I'm like an older sister who is patient and will explain again and again until it clicks.
