About Alfonso
Self-taught multi-instrumentalist, I have three decades of experience dedicated to learning and perfecting guitar, harp, mandolin, lap steel, dobro and ukulele.
I have collaborated with artists from languages as diverse as the southern rock of MCarballo's band or the folk fusion of Cristina Pato.
I am passionate about the music of Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, although the truth is that I enjoy almost all musical styles.

My teaching model is based on the method of learning by doing, so that the classes are adapted to students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced.
Starting from songs that the student likes, depending on their level, we analyze their elements (harmony, rhythm, and melody), and use them to advance the student's musical knowledge.
I teach face-to-face classes in my studio in Ourense. Also online, by Zoom, FaceTime, or Skype.
I specialize in modern genres like blues, rock, pop-rock, and other more traditional ones like folk, bluegrass, or country.
