About Helina
I’m currently completing a Master’s degree in Museum Education, a joint programme across three European universities, focused on how storytelling and heritage shape the way people learn. Before this, I worked as a curator at a museum in Ghana, where a big part of my role was making history and culture accessible and engaging for visitors of all ages.
I decided to start tutoring because I love that moment when a subject stops feeling like a wall and starts feeling like a door, when a student goes from dreading a topic to genuinely wanting to talk about it. I bring patience, curiosity, and a real love of teaching to every session, and I’m just as invested in building confidence as I am in improving grades.

My approach to tutoring is built on storytelling and narrative, I believe that even the driest exam topic becomes memorable once it’s connected to a real story or example. I’m currently completing a Master’s degree focused on education and heritage, and I previously worked as a museum curator in Ghana, where making history and ideas come alive for visitors was my daily job.
In lessons, I focus on understanding how each student learns best, breaking topics into manageable pieces, and building confidence alongside knowledge. I’m patient, encouraging, and genuinely enjoy the moment when something finally clicks. Whether you’re catching up, aiming for top grades, or just want a subject to feel less intimidating, I’ll tailor sessions to what actually works for you.
