About Nahandoo
I am an experienced and highly competent teacher. I have a Bachelor's degree in Pure Chemistry and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry. I have been teaching chemistry since 2009. I have set records of significantly improving academic achievement of students in Chemistry. In 2016 I was given Award of Excellence by Our Lady of Perpetual Help College, Makurdi for my excellent performance at arousing students' interest in Chemistry and significantly increasing their academic achievement.

My teaching methods are student centred. I begin my classes from what the student already knows and then introduce new concepts. I guide my students to learn by asking questions that probe their understanding and motivate them to think up solutions. I use instructional materials to facilitate their understanding of abstracts concepts. I encourage students to ask questions and try to answer all their questions. I employ emotional intelligence to understand and empathise with them when they have other non-academic (emotional) problems that have tendency to affect their concentration in class.
