About Daria
Hi there! I'm Dalia, born and raised in Japan – though I'm actually half Romanian too! I'm 21 years old and currently studying Film, Television, and Digital Media at a university in the UK. I’m also the president of the Japanese Society here, where I teach Japanese once a week. Until I was 19, I lived in Yokohama and Tokyo, so I know lots of hidden local spots that I could shere! I absolutely love movies and anime – some of my favorites are Haikyuu, Gintama, and One Piece. Lately, I’ve been really into Blue Period. I'm a friendly and easygoing person, and I’m really looking forward to learning Japanese together with you!

I offer one-on-one Japanese lessons online via Zoom. Before we start, I’ll ask about your personal goals and tailor each lesson to match your level and interests. I’m happy to teach using both Japanese and English – whichever makes you feel more comfortable! I also adjust my teaching style depending on your preferences and learning pace. Since I live in the UK, time zones won’t be an issue for students in Europe and nearby regions. Lessons usually start from one hour, and learners of all levels are welcome – from absolute beginners to advanced! I’m also open to discussing lesson fees depending on your situation, so feel free to ask. You’re very welcome to try a free trial lesson first. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
