About Faith
Hi! My name is Faith, I am a recent high school graduate. I graduated top 15% in my high school class. Because I am freshly out of high school, I relate to the ups and downs, and how challenging classes can be sometimes. I am always here to help and make things feel a little less overwhelming.
Before graduating High School, I tutored math through the National Honor Society, which gave me experience working with different learning styles and approaches. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all method so I do my best to meet students where they are.
Outside academics, I am an avid reader and writer. I also babysit children ranging from infants to preteens, which has helped me connect with a wide range of personalities and age groups. Lastly yes, I do genuinely enjoy math and I am always looking to grow my knowledge so once in a while I get caught exploring different math text books I picked up online.

My typical lesson starts by meeting students at their point of need. I begin by assessing what they already know, then tailor the session to focus on the areas that need the most attention. Lessons are very student-driven — I guide them gently in the right direction while adjusting my teaching style to fit how they learn best. Everyone processes information differently, so I adapt to what works for each individual.
What sets me apart is that I’ve recently completed these courses myself, so the material is fresh in my mind. I understand the common struggles because I’ve faced them too. I focus on building confidence by starting with the smallest concepts and helping students' piece everything together like a puzzle.
