About Sarah

I am a current teacher of geography and have been a successful Head of Geography for 8 years prior to this. Overall I have 17 years of experience at Key Stage 3 to 5. I am a mum of 2 little ones who give me perspective and ensure I teach in a way I would want them to be seen and heard. I love spending time with my family, I enjoy the outdoors and yoga.

About the lesson

I plan interesting and engaging lessons, chunking down knowledge and building skills to suit the individual learner. I scaffold tasks and ensure students are supported and challenged. My aim is for students to walk away confident in their ability to approach their GCSE or A Level. I ensure there are regular check-ins to secure knowledge as well as long-term retention. I can teach using Teams, Zoom and Google Meet.
