Amanda is a great teacher. She creates a fun and non judgemental environment to learn and practice speaking Portuguese. She also has the patience and proficiency to translate concepts and culture to better understand the language you are learning in both a technical and experiencial way. My confidence and understanding of Portuguese has improved at a fast pace since working with Amanda. I look forward to class each week. I highly recommend working with her!!!!!

Amanda is an amazing teacher! She has a unique way of making learning fun and educational, not just teaching the fundamentals of speaking the language but also the culture and history and nuances of Brazilian portugese. Her friendly approach puts you at ease immediately and she cultivates a personal learning plan for her students that is engaging and makes learning entertaining. Many times we would be having interesting and fun conversations and I didn't realize how quickly I was progressing and learning because she makes class so enjoyable. Her tools and homework assignments and suggestions for practice outside of class also were incredibly helpful and I still enjoy utilizing the lessons she has passed on to me. I highly recommend Amanda for any level student who wants to learn and practice their portugese, you will not find a better teacher and friend.
