About Ester
My name is Ester and I am a native Brazilian. I have some experience with tutoring and I enjoy teaching my language to people, as well as learning other languages, which makes my communication with my students much easier.
I believe that one of the best ways to learn a language is with things that we are interested in, universes in which we are inserted, and I do my best to bring this to my students.

My methodology consists mainly of what the student is already familiar with, thus facilitating the assimilation of the content. I work mainly with vocabulary sheets, movies, series, books, music, and all the elements that the student is already familiar with in his/her native language, adapting the content according to the student and his/her needs.
From the first moment I introduce the students to an immersion in the language using the elements they already know and simultaneously introducing him to Brazilian culture, the classes are given in Portuguese and some moments can be used to clarify something in the student's native language.

She is an understanding and sweet person. I believe she makes a very good teacher due to that. She also listens to her students and try help anyway she can.
Estér is a very paciente person and really enjoy the entire process of everything. She don’t want just to “throw” things on you, she likes to explain why and etc… I really hope that some students have the luck to have her as a teacher!
