About Yee Mei

I am a fun person who gets along well with people of all ages. I come from a Chinese-speaking community and I only started to learn how to speak English when I was in college. As Chinese speakers, we always feel inferior to speaking English in public because we are afraid of making mistakes. Aha! Fear not. I really understand how you feel when you are facing a 'language crisis"! Learning a language is never a difficult task if you have the opportunity to SPEAK with native speakers. Forget about the exams, gain your interest in learning the language first. I work in a bank and I have seen a lot of people, knowing another language is definitely a plus point and it also stimulates your brain to think in different ways. Because English and mandarin grammars work in the opposite ways. Haha

Available for online and face-to-face class.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

About the lesson

Your lesson will be fully customised based on your targeted skill and proficiency. Basically I’ll focus more on daily life conversational style as language itself is a communication tool. I should be able to prepare you to engage in Mandarin conversations with any other mandarin speaker in less than month.
