About LI
I'm a friendly and reliable Chinese tutor currently based in Korea as a university student. Being a learner of Korean myself, I know exactly what it feels like to struggle with pronunciation, tones, and grammar—and how to overcome those challenges. This empathy shapes my teaching style: I'm patient, encouraging, and always celebrate your progress, no matter how small. I prepare customized materials for each student and keep detailed notes of your improvement. If you're looking for a teacher who truly understands the learning journey from both sides, I'd love to work with you.

My lessons are designed to be interactive and practical, focusing on real-life conversations rather than textbook memorization. A typical class starts with a casual warm-up in Korean to review previous material, followed by learning new vocabulary through custom-made slides. The core of the lesson involves guided dialogue practice where we role-play scenarios like ordering food or traveling. I use my fluency in Korean to explain difficult grammar points instantly, ensuring you never feel lost. As a fellow student living in Korea, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and provide a patient, encouraging space for you to build confidence. These lessons are perfect for beginners and intermediate learners who want to speak Chinese naturally.
