About Alex
I've been helping students across the country to improve their Spanish language skills for over two years now. Here's a little information so you can get to know me better:
I'm originally from Liverpool, but grew up in Valencia, where I became fully immersed in the Spanish language and culture. I'm a certified professional translator by day, and over the course of my career I've translated for a number of Fortune 500 companies. In 2020, I graduated from The University of Manchester with a first-class Master's degree in Translation Studies. As such, you can be guaranteed you're getting lessons from a fully-qualified language professional.

As a professional translator, I live and breathe languages. My goal is to make you as passionate about Spanish as I am, by providing engaging, laid-back and educational classes.
My methodology is different for each class, because I appreciate that every student has different goals and needs. I find conversation classes to be a great learning tool for advanced students, whereas beginners benefit more from a gradual introduction to Spanish phraseology. However, I never take a one-size-fits-all approach to my classes, so let me know what kind of class would suit you best so I can prepare a tailor-adapted lesson for you!
