I come from a hospitality background but I had a career change. My experience includes teaching adults for about 3 months while travelling Phuket, Thailand. For the past year and a half I have been teaching kindergarten and elementary level English to students in Vietnam.

My teaching methodology is the ESA ( Engage,Study,Activate). It's a straight forward approach. I start off the lessons with the Engage stage by building some confidence in the students. This usually includes a fun activity to get all the students involved and talking at least once before the lesson starts. Next I transition into the Study stage this will include some elicitation techniques as well as some controlled practice worksheets. Finally I finish off with the Activate stage, during this stage I will facilitate an activity that focuses on the lessons language points while allowing my students to participate in a more free-flowing war. The best activities often mimic real world conversations and maximise students opportunities to practice their new found language skills
