About Танечка
I offer clear, structured Russian lessons designed specifically for English-speaking students, especially Americans who want to understand how Russian really works. As a native Russian speaker with over 10 years of teaching experience, I focus on making the language logical, practical, and approachable.
Because my professional background is teaching English, I understand how languages are learned and how to explain grammar clearly to English-speaking students. This allows me to anticipate common difficulties and explain Russian concepts step by step in a way that truly makes sense.
My lessons combine pronunciation practice, clear grammar explanations, and real-life conversation. A typical lesson includes guided speaking, new material, practical examples, and confidence-building exercises. I adapt each lesson to your goals, whether you are a complete beginner, learning for travel or work, or improving fluency.
What sets me apart is patience, structure, and clarity.

Tanya is so sweet! She is great with kids and was my daughters teacher!
I know Tanya through church, where she has taught my children for several years. Tanya is highly educated, and extremely fluent in English (and Russian of course). She is very patient, and one of the most motivated people I know. When she teaches students, she always keeps a plan for their growth in mind, while keeping lessons attainable
