About Simon
Hello, I am Simon. I am 29 years old from Derby, England (East midlands). I currently live and teach English in Vietnam. Teaching has always been a dream of mine and it is so much better than I imagined it would be. It's amazing to meet new people and help them to achieve their goals, seeing my students progress lesson by lesson fill me with a pride I am yet to find anywhere else. Some of my hobbies and interests include: playing guitar, listening to music, watching movies, as well as spending time with my family and friends. I generally have an interest in most things so I am sure we will have somethings in common that we can talk about. I look forward to speaking to you.

I recently gained my CELTA qualification in August 2022 so all the information and techniques I learnt during my time on this course are still fresh in my mind. My lessons tend to be conversation based where we can talk about any topics that you are interested in or wanting to talk about. I aim to keep my lessons informal and fun. I adapt each lesson to meet your personal preferences as well as helping you to achieve your goals whether you are learning English for professional or personal reasons, together we will get there! Most of my experience has been teaching adults with my students ranging from 16-63 years of age, with abilities ranging from levels A1-B2 (elementary to upper-intermediate). Lesson duration is based on your goals and the time you are able to commit to learning English. I look forward to speaking to you soon!
