About Ysa
I’m a 16-year-old high school student! I’m currently in Grade 11, however, I’ve had the beautiful opportunity to do a Dual Credit at Conestoga College in both Psychology, and Crime Scene Investigation. As a student who used to struggle to ask for clarification and help from peers and teachers, I want to demonstrate a safe space for many others who have also been in the same boat as I have. I currently volunteer as a tutor inside of school, and efforts have shown many of my peers have succeeded with the extra push of help, I hope I can do the same for you!

Why choose me as your tutor?
- I understand the current curriculum.
As a high school student myself, I know exactly what teachers expect, how tests are structured, and which topics students struggle with the most.
- Explanations that actually make sense.
Sometimes teachers explain things too quickly or in complicated ways. I break concepts down step-by-step so they’re easier to understand.
- Relatable and comfortable learning environment.
Students often find it easier to ask questions and learn from someone closer to their age.
- Improve grades and confidence.
My goal isn’t just finishing homework, it’s helping students actually understand the material so they perform better on quizzes, tests, and exams.
