I hold a BA in Pacific and Asian studies (Japan focus) and Public Administration from the University of Victoria. I hold an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program Educators Certificate. I hold a Teaching English as a Second Language Certificate. I have generally completed my coursework with an A-average. I believe that, in this new era of AI, personal tutoring should focus on the human-to-human relationship, put simply: friendship first, teaching competencies and helping you successfully complete course assessments second.

I can help you learn English, complete your assignments, and/or prepare for test/exams. My BA program focused on writing research essays so I am especially well positioned to help with this type of assignment. My methodology is casual, friendly, and student-led. There will be no 'lessons', I will simply respond as best I can to your questions and desires. For in-person lessons, I only travel within Nanaimo. Please enquire Sunday-Thursday or I may not have time to reply!
