About Curtis

I want to share my unique innovations in the field of guitar improvisation with the world through teaching. I literally possess knowledge that nobody else has and can prove it to you by passing it on. Sorry if that sounds scary, I'm also very good with beginners haha. Hit up my SoundCloud if you want a preview of my style. (concealed information)

About the lesson

Most teachers will teach you the pentatonic scale, talk about clapton and call it a day. My teaching methodology on the other hand focuses on tailoring lessons to what you want to achieve. Whether its playing Ed Sheeran at a party or fully shredding on your way to become a guitar virtuoso, I will help you with this journey.

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Curtis.

Perfect! Curtis is extremely dedicated in making sure you don't just learn a scale, some chords, and can play, but he makes it his mission to help you understand the why's and the ins and outs of guitar playing. I highly recommend.

Saw him playing guitar downtown, sat down with him and had a great conversation. Very down to earth guy who is incredible at guitar, almost near mastery. I signed up for lessons and in a month I improved more than in 3 months with my previous teacher. If you want to actually learn how to play guitar sign up with this guy. He is a patient teacher who is uplifting and kind towards his students while also disciplining them.

I’m super into old school hip hop and wanted to learn some of the samples used on guitar, Curtis was able to figure out the pattern on the spot and show me the tabs, he’s super flexible with genres to learn and it’s a very friendly environment.
