About Jason

I am a college professor specializing in networking, cybersecurity, computer systems, and information technology. I have extensive experience teaching both technical concepts and hands-on skills, including networking, operating systems, hardware, troubleshooting, cybersecurity, and system administration.

My approach to tutoring is practical and problem-focused. I work to make difficult technical material understandable without oversimplifying it, and I tailor explanations to the student’s experience level and goals. About the lesson

My tutoring sessions are built around understanding, not memorization. I work with students on networking, cybersecurity, computer hardware, operating systems, troubleshooting, and CompTIA certification topics, with lessons tailored to the student’s current level and goals.

I teach the same way I approach technical problems professionally: break the problem into manageable parts, identify what is happening and why, and work through the solution step by step. I use practical examples whenever possible so that concepts are connected to real systems rather than treated as isolated theory.

Sessions can focus on coursework, exam preparation, certification objectives, lab work, troubleshooting, or specific topics a student is struggling with. I am comfortable working with beginners as well as college-level and more advanced students.

My goal is not simply to help you get through an assignment or pass an exam. I want you to understand the material well enough to apply it independently when you encounter the same type of problem again.
