About Alice
I have a first class degree in Mathematics and a distinction in my masters in Computer Science from Newcastle University. I have previous experience with voluntary teaching at events like ‘Coding for Girls’ and have a TEFL qualification which was used to teach English in Thailand. I am very good at breaking down mathematics so it is digestible and easy to understand. I am able to teach any level of mathematics and I am very patient and know everyone has different ways of processing and learning information.

There is not one correct method in teaching as it depends wholly on the student and how they find it best to learn. However, I will bring a range of questions and ideas to each session and explain the process in a methodical and logical way, breaking it down further whenever necessary, focusing on areas the student struggles most with.
