About Ken

I just graduated from the Latymer School, one of the most prestigious grammar schools in the UK, standing in as the “No 1 co-educational state school in London and fifth co-educational state secondary school in the UK” - Sunday Times 2019. There’s an abundance of 11+ tutors on the market, but I can offer you and your child a first-hand perspective on a proven approach that is specific for successful entries into grammar schools that you would not have seen before. I will show you how I personally became a top academic student with very limited time, starting with nothing.

I came to this country when I was 6. Not knowing a single word of English and having come from a very humble background, I was already at a major disadvantage. I entered the UK education system in Year 2 of an average, state primary school, which has no record of kids ever graduating to any grammar schools prior to my attendance. How I turned around in the next two and a half years to surpass everyone that dared to look down on me before and go on to get offers from all 5 of the greatest grammar schools, remains a mystery to most.

Tutors everywhere can ALL teach your child how to answer questions, but why doesn’t every child get into grammar schools? Academia is a test of intelligence. If you don’t approach these exams intelligently and with strategy, you have already failed at the foundations. Consequently, all subsequent ‘preparation’ you make on top will collapse on exam day.

I just turned 18 and have a few years of successful tutoring experience already. I specialise in Maths and Non-Verbal Reasoning. However, I am also highly adept at teaching English and Verbal Reasoning.

About the lesson

I utilise strategic planning based on each individual students' needs to formulate the most effective preparation strategy to be exam-ready in the shortest time possible. There is no one straight forward methodology for successful teaching. Teaching mainly done through the use of past papers.
