I am a student as of yet but have experience writing multiple novels, writing marketing material and web copy, and research essays. My specialty in writing is connecting with the reader emotionally; anyone can craft an argument and polish up their grammar, but those mean less if the reader isn't invested in your words.

I give lessons to middle school and up. I like to let the student learn from doing rather than a lecture; it enforces the information and works for shorter attention spans as well. I also use creative exercises such as imagining scenes, seeing things from another point of view, and using art in order to help students gain more insight into their work. Positive reinforcement, support, and patience are important to me and I work to make lessons fun as well as helpful.
