About Ryan
I’ve been a freelance tutor since starting college, and was recently certified as a tutor by the National Tutoring Association. I’ve tutored students in math, chemistry, and computer science, but am most passionate about computer science. I’m a published researcher in my field, and constantly work to teach myself about the newest technologies. I aim to provide students with the skills they need to become great programmers, and guide them to a point where they are ready to enter the workforce.

I can work with just about any code if I know the language well, and can solidify one’s understanding of most major concepts in the field of computer science. I encourage my students to practice on their free time by giving them ungraded assignments to work with; challenging them to go beyond the session to improve. After all, programming takes practice!
