About Aleida
I am going into my second year of college as a nursing major. I graduated high school in 2024 Summa Cum Laude and with an AP Scholar Award. Have experience tutoring through school programs and as a babysitter. I also have experience in ABA therapy which touched on breaking down topics into manageable tasks, the use of positive reinforcement, and adapting methods to each child’s learning abilities and styles.

Oftentimes students struggle because they are not able to understand the steps that are needed to solve the bigger idea! My approach involves understanding the learning style of the student and adapting to them. Whether it be visual learning with the use of diagrams or kinesthetic learning which utilizes activities or physical aids that explain the problems. My goal is to help students understand topics well enough that they can teach!
