About Aldo
I lived in Ireland and Sweden as part of my academic education and gained the official IELTS certificate, released by British Council.
In Sweden, I have been an Erasmus exchange student for a semester, attending courses and doing economics exams in english.
In Ireland, precisely in Dublin, I gained a Master of Science in Digital Marketing at UCD Business School.
In addition to english, I have a passion for spanish, which I had the opportunity to learn by working in Spain as Web Designer and SPA-ITA translator in a foreign language agency based in Malaga.

I follow a personal approach that comes from my very personal experience: I know very well the needs of anyone struggling with learning or improving english for different purposes (it may be an academic purpose, a professional one, etc.), therefore my lessons are flexible and oriented to my students' interests and inclinations, in order to make the lesson a stimulating experience.
The typical lesson is divided into two parts:
- a "technical" part, focused on grammar basics, with exercises aimed at setting concepts and acquiring a solid grammar knowledge, which is essential to any other purpose.
- a second part focused on speaking about a variety of topics; this is where I apply more consistently my personal method, aimed at stimulating an english conversation about topics of interest, making use of several learning sources, such as books, Youtube tutorials and interviews, newspaper articles, music lyrics, TV shows and so on.
In general, for beginners (A1-A2), the grammar part is more consistent with respect to the intermediates (B1-B2). This is because knowing the basics of the english grammar is an essential precondition to an other english skill: speaking, listening, writing, etc.
During the first lesson, which is closer to a "talk", there will be the chance to define the ideal type of lesson according to the specific objective that the student wish to achieve and based on his current english level.
