About Ziyao
Hi, I’m Ziyao. I hold a BSc in Physics from Lund University. My background includes computational physics, numerical methods, and mathematical modeling, with a strong emphasis on analytical reasoning.
I am currently preparing for my Master’s studies in Physics by strengthening my mathematical foundations, and deeper analysis of advanced topics.

My tutoring style focuses on helping students build stronger fundamentals and mathematical intuition, rather than relying only on memorised steps. The aim is to help students understand why a method is used, how it works, and how the ideas connect, so they are better prepared to approach new and unfamiliar problems independently in the future.
I offer two types of online lessons:
•Guided lessons — RM50/hour: for students who want a more structured explanation of a selected topic. This may include concept explanation, worked examples, guided practice, and clarification of weak areas.
• Question-based sessions — RM35/hour: for students who have short, focused homework, past-year, or topic questions. Students should send the questions and their own attempt before the lesson, so we can focus on where the confusion starts and how to approach the problem more methodically. If a question requires a broader topic explanation, I may suggest a guided lesson instead.
