About Mari
I am originally from Brazil and my interest in English emerged through the love for music, as I really wanted to understand what they were singing about. I started studying English at 17 and after 4 years, I was invited to teach at the language school.
I have loved doing that and taught for 4 years before I moved to the UK in 2001. I completed my Cambridge proficiency certificate there and also a Community Translation course.
I am currently teaching high school students in China online and I truly enjoy that.
Helping others develop and improve their skills is something I am really passionate about and it gives me great satisfaction watching people excel in their abilities.
