About Mirja

I am a PhD degree holder in maths. I've been teaching maths (all subjects) for about 12 years. I have experience in private tutoring, in person and online. My students are mostly the ones who need help with homework and exam preparations.

About the lesson

My method of teaching is a friendly and individual approach to each student. I make a research plan for my student in order to track his or her progress. After the lecture and explanation I give students homework and a self-evaluating test.

Mirja is an excellent tutor: she is extremely knowledgeable, but still manages to break down concepts in a way that is clear and easy to ingest and never over-complicating. She is patient, and doesn't mind repeating the same concept if not clear, and always adding a bit of humour in the mix. We're in different countries now, but wish I could find someone like her here! Couldn't recommend her enough.
