About Sancia
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths tutor offering online tuition for students in Years 5–7, including SATs preparation and support with the transition into secondary school. Having recently completed my GCSEs, I have a strong understanding of the current curriculum and the challenges students may face when learning new concepts.
My aim is to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. I adapt each lesson to the individual needs of the student, focusing on clear explanations, problem-solving skills and developing a positive attitude towards Maths.
I am passionate about helping younger students improve their understanding and achieve their goals through structured, engaging and personalised lessons. I hope to lay the foundation for the skills required in the rest of their journey continuing into secondary school.

My approach to tutoring is focused on making Maths clear, enjoyable and confidence-building. I break down difficult topics into smaller steps, use past paper question examples, questioning techniques and practice exercises to help students understand concepts rather than memorise methods.
I offer a free introductory lesson which lasts 20-30 minutes.
Official lessons typically last 45–60 minutes and are tailored to each student's needs e.g. taking requests for specific topics.
I offer online Maths tuition for students in Years 5–7, including SATs preparation and support with the transition to secondary school.
I have recently completed my GCSEs and have a strong understanding of the current curriculum, allowing me to explain topics in a relatable way.
