About Ella
New to this site, but not to tutoring..! I trained through TeachFirst and have taught for 3 years in a challenging Inner London school. I was awarded Outstanding in every teaching standard and was promoted in my second year to a role which demonstrated my excellent teaching skills. Alongside this my subject and curriculum knowledge is shown in my consistently strong GCSE results. Teaching is something I really enjoy and was committed to the success of my pupils throughout my 3 years in the classroom. I ran regular tutoring sessions for my year 11 and 12 students throughout the last 3 years outside of school hours so am experienced in 1:1 tutoring. This has meant my subject and curriculum knowledge is very strong and is demonstrated by my consistently excellent GCSE results. Having embarked on my new career within education technology social enterprise I have been tutoring regularly alongside current role. I hope to eventually go back into teaching and therefore tutoring is a good way to maintain my pedagogical skill and subject knowledge.
