About Lilian
I am a friendly second year at the University of Oxford, Brasenose College, studying Law with European Law. I received a first (distinction) in my first-year exams, and I am extremely passionate about my subject. I’ve completed my constitutional, criminal, roman, and contract law modules. Further, I achieved above 30 in my LNAT.
I have excellent communication skills, an optimistic outlook, and experience teaching children and teenagers. Good grades should be accessible to everyone, and I am passionate about inspiring and helping young people to achieve their fullest potential.
Further, having come from a state school background, I am enthusiastic about creating visibility into the application process, life, and studies at Oxbridge which I had lacked when applying. I am more than happy to help students gain a fuller understanding of the process and assist in this journey.
I achieved particularly highly in Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, and History up to A-Level.

I tutor law, biology, chemistry, history, and English literature up to A level. Rather than providing a lecture on the topic, I help students learn by guiding them to achieve their own understanding of a topic, inspired by the Oxbridge tutorial system. This is a question-and-answer system, and reading will be recommended as guidance prior to the lesson to aid in understanding: however, this is not homework. Although it aids a student’s understanding, the tutorial can proceed without it.
A recommended lesson length is an hour to an hour and a half depending on how prepared the student is and their relative understanding of the topic.
These tutorials are available for age groups from primary school (for most subjects: subject to inquiry) and secondary school and upwards in the specified subject areas.
I am an excellent student, who excelled under the tutorial system and distance learning, where I had to learn how to teach myself material. I have assisted teaching in primary schools and have tutored family and friends before.
Prices vary based on level and length of the tutoring session, in addition to the number of people who are being tutored.
