About Ellen
I have just graduated with distinction from my MA Folklore Studies and moved near Bath to begin working. I love working with children and young people and would like to begin tutoring after several years of childcare and academic experience.

I am a recent MA graduate with an undergraduate from University of Oxford. I have work experience at a primary school as a TA, where I worked with the class teacher to facilitate targeted interventions, for example handwriting, phonics and grammar, as well as running the Dancing Bears and Language for Thinking programs with certain children. I provided particular support for children with higher support needs such as ASD and dyslexia. I also assisted the children with their reading.
My teaching approach is tailored to each child I work with, taking into consideration their unique skillset and struggles. I endeavour to make my sessions as entertaining as possible, utilitising games and creative tasks alongside practical exercises.
