About Geena
I'm a fourth-year medical student at the University of Oxford. I graduated with a First Class BA in Medical Sciences, ranked 11th of 149 in my year. I achieved A* in A-Level Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Maths, plus an A* EPQ, and scored 3360 on the UCAT (top 1%). I've published first-author research in neuroscience.
I've tutored since 2022, with more than 1,000 hours and 20+ students. I remember how stressful exams felt, so I keep lessons calm, structured and encouraging. I'm patient and clear, and I like to understand how each student thinks before deciding how to teach them.
Chemistry sits behind much of medicine, from how drugs work to how cells release energy from food. I've done research in Oxford, New York and Finland, and I use real examples to make abstract topics feel relevant.
I work especially well with students who find calculations or organic chemistry difficult, lack confidence, or are aiming for top grades and competitive courses like medicine.

I help students build a real understanding of chemistry, from calculations and organic mechanisms to applying ideas in unfamiliar contexts. I break each topic down step by step, so the logic becomes clear rather than something to memorise.
Lessons are for GCSE and A-Level students on any exam board (AQA, OCR, Edexcel). Each one-hour online session combines worked examples with past-paper practice, focusing on method marks, common mistakes and exam timing. We start by finding your weaker areas, then work through them in a structured plan, with practice set between lessons if you'd like it.
