About Rufus
I studied English Literature at Oxford University for 3 years. During this period, I held various tutoring roles in my spare time. Now since I have recently graduated, I am hugely looking forward to dedicating more time to helping students study literature, as well as helping you to prepare and feel confident for any exams you might be taking.

We will have an initial consultation where I will note your learning needs and time-frame. From this, I will prepare a clearly structured syllabus appropriate to these needs.
My lessons typically last 45 minutes-1 hour. I will teach you all the content you need in an engaging and accessible manner. I encourage close attention to relevant exam materials so my students get into the habit of applying what they’ve learnt to specific questions.
I have nearly one year of experience as a private English tutor on italki. I also currently work with Polaris & Dawn tutoring agency where I teach exam preparation lessons.
