About Orla
I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor looking to work with students to help them achieve their academic goals.
I am a current undergraduate studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford.
I am an experienced tutor having taught in both one-to-one online sessions and as an English teaching assistant at the KS3 to A Level level in schools.

My lessons are tailored to meet each student’s area of concern and suited learning style.
In our first session together, I assess the students areas of concern and confidence to understand what in particular we need to focus on and what learning styles/techniques work best for them.
As a result of this personalised approach, each session varies from student to student but follows a similar format: 1) reviewing work set in between sessions, 2) working through a particular new or challenging concept, 3) applying this concept to an example, 4) and finally setting a piece of work to work on in between sessions.
