With nearly two decades of experience in education, I am a highly qualified P–12 certified teacher, National Board Certified educator, and doctoral-level professional. My training and experience equip me to deliver rigorous, research-based instruction while meeting the individual needs of each student. My approach is based on the needs of the learner. I pre-assess a skill using research-based strategies. I start with the prerequisites needed to master the skill to ensure that the instructions provided are appropriate for the learner. The purpose of this method is to identify gaps in learning, allow the learner to experience success, and to plan instruction that builds on existing knowledge.
Throughout my tenure, I have worked with a very diverse population of learners from preschoolers with disabilities to adults. I have also worked with nondisabled students, novice teachers, and adults.
The lessons are for any individual who is seeking targeted instructions to improve their abilities in an area.
