About Dominic

I am a self employed musician and tutor with over 25 years of music performance and production experience.

I studied at music at City college Norwich and teaching at University of East Anglia.

I have 12 years of music teaching experience at FE level. My subject specialism is performance coaching and I have significant ability in motivating students who have confidence issues and/or learning barriers.
I have former students who have progressed into various careers as international artists, performers, programmers, engineers and promoters.

Some have achieved no1 hit singles in the UK and worldwide pop charts. Others have received digital license royalty payments for creations in media audio, games music and ringtones etc.

Others have won music and dance awards and supported major international artists on world tours of stadiums arenas and festivals.

Some former students who had confidence issues have gone on to overcome their anxieties and work in environments and circumstances that they could not have imagined prior to study.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are peripatetic, diverse and are based upon negotiated learning outcomes.

Lessons can be great fun or quite serious if preferred - all based on learner requirements.

I have a proven track record for inspiring motivating and helping students of all ages and backgrounds to develop and achieve. Students who may have had learning barriers and sociability issues can really benefit from my tuition.

I can also tailor learning programs to suit individuals needs. I can offer programs that are aimed at preparing students to achieve specific accredited formal qualifications in theory and performance exams.

Alternatively, I can also deliver programs that simply allow beginner students to gain greater understanding of their instrument/music, or just build up their confidence levels.
