About Denice
I'm a PhD student of Industrial Engineering at University of Toronto. I completed two master degrees one in Mathematics and another in Industrial Engineering. I have 5+ years of experience in teaching in professional academic environments. I have spent a lot of time tutoring many students from different backgrounds in high school and university level courses.

My methodology varies per individual's needs: In the first session, which is usually free, I engage in conversation with students with the purpose of understanding their knowledge, strengths and weaknesses on the topic of discussion. Then, based upon the provided information, I create sequential course contents to assist them to achive the knowledge that they wish for.
My methodology mainly bases on comprehension and problem solving techniques. First, I focus on explaining the topics in a very simple way so that the students can understand the main concepts. Next, I work with the students to develop certain skills for solving related questions and tests.
I assist students in solving their homework, lab, and tutorial questions, as well as guide them in their research and term projects.
