About Christos

Basketball has always been one of my biggest passions, and I want to help others learn, improve, and enjoy the game. I welcome players of all ages, particularly beginners and those interested in developing their skills as power forwards and centers.

My focus is on helping players build the fundamentals of playing in the frontcourt, including rebounding, positioning, footwork, finishing around the basket, post moves, and defensive fundamentals.

I am an amateur basketball player rather than a qualified or experienced coach, so I want to be upfront about that. However, I am passionate about the game, eager to share what I know, and committed to creating a positive and encouraging environment where players can develop their confidence and skills at their own pace.

Whether you are just starting out or want to become more comfortable playing in the paint, I would love to help you work towards your basketball goals while enjoying the process

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help players of all ages develop their basketball fundamentals in a relaxed, supportive and enjoyable environment. I am particularly interested in helping players who want to improve their skills as power forwards and centers.

Depending on the player's experience and goals, lessons can focus on:

Footwork and positioning: Learning how to move effectively around the basket and establish good position.

Rebounding: Improving rebounding technique, timing and boxing out.

Finishing around the basket: Developing layups, close-range finishes and basic post moves.

Defence: Learning defensive positioning, staying in front of opponents and protecting the paint.

Basketball fundamentals: Building coordination, confidence, and a better understanding of the game.

Each lesson can be adapted to the player's current ability and areas they want to improve. My aim is to make sessions enjoyable, encourage consistent progress and help players feel more confident on the court.

As an amateur player who is new to coaching, I focus on sharing the fundamentals I know while continuing to learn and develop my own understanding of the game.

Also availability is after 4pm on weekdays and after 1pm on Saturdays and all day on Sundays
