About Hailey
As a junior in college with a major in elementary education and experience as a tutor, I bring both passion and dedication to my work as a teacher. I have eight nieces and nephews, so I love kids very much, and I know how important it is to make a learning environment that is safe and caring. I'm flexible, patient, and dedicated to making sure every student feels supported and valued as they learn.
I love my two cats, Mr. Mao Mao and Ms. Melody, so much that they often inspire the creative parts of my lessons. This makes me a great person to connect with kids outside of school. Professional, one-on-one tutoring that fits the needs of each child is something I'm proud to do. It helps them build a strong academic foundation.

Based on my experience as an elementary school tutor, I use student-centered, interactive, and fun methods to meet the individual needs of each child. To make sure that students fully understand concepts, I use a mix of hands-on activities, visual aids, and examples from real life. I stress being patient and flexible so that every child feels safe and supported.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of what was learned before to see how well it was remembered. Next, creative exercises are used to introduce new ideas. Then we use what we've learned by solving problems and having discussions. To finish, we do a quick review to make sure we remember what we've learned.
What makes me unique is that I can connect with my students on a personal level, which helps me build trust and make the classroom a comfortable place where they can learn and do well. My people skills help me see and help students with their specific learning problems, so I can give each student the attention they need.
These lessons are made for elementary school students who need extra help with all of their core subjects. I am here to give kids the tools they need to succeed, whether they are having trouble with reading, math, or just being interested in school in general.
