About the lesson

As a tutor, I believe in creating a supportive, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes — because that’s how real learning happens. I adapt my lessons to each student’s level, needs, and learning style, whether they’re just beginning to read or want help structuring strong essays.

My teaching method blends structured guidance with creative expression. I break down reading and writing into manageable steps, using visual aids, storytelling techniques, and real-life examples to make abstract concepts feel concrete. For younger students, I might use phonics games, reading aloud, and spelling activities. For older students, lessons often include writing prompts, essay outlines, grammar reviews, and feedback discussions.

A typical lesson begins with a quick warm-up (such as a short reading or word activity), followed by the main topic (like writing an introduction or identifying tone in a passage). We close with a review, feedback, and a preview of the next session. I always leave time for students to ask questions or reflect on what they learned.
